The No. 13-seeded St. Ed’s Lady Jays were confident heading into Wednesday night’s Division V opening round playoff game against No. 20 Highland Baptist.
They had every right to be. After an 18-win regular season which saw it end on a high note in defeating Eunice High last Saturday, they rolled into Wednesday’s match playing good volleyball.
