The Northside Christian Lady Warriors continued their dominance in District 7-C play Wednesday with a 17-1 thumping of Hackberry.
The Lady Warriors (15-4, 5-0) have now outscored their league opponents 82-22 in five games.
Against Hackberry, the Lady Warriors banged out 11 hits in two innings. They pushed across eight runs in the first frame and nine in the second before the game was halted due to the mercy rule.
Zera Hanagriff led the charge offensively with a perfect 3-for-3 performance that included a double and an RBI.
Angel Allen followed with two hits, including a double and two RBI and Kate Daigle had two singles.
Brileigh Newman added a double and four RBI, Kelsey Gaspard and Rory Thibodeaux each had a single and an RBI, Kamrie Breaux had a single and Madeline Dischler logged an RBI.
Thibodeaux picked up the victory in the circle after surrendering just one run on two hits. She walked two and struck out four in three innings.
