‘Bard of the South’ at St. Edmund Elementary

Rickey Pittman, often called, “Bard of the South, visited St. Edmund and spoke to the school’s second, third, fourth and fifth-graders. Pittman is an award-winning author, storyteller, and folk singer who has written and published many books and CDs. Pittman’s great appreciation and respect for Cajun people and their history compelled him to share his love for Louisiana and the unique culture of Acadiana.
