First Baptist Church in Eunice held its Vacation Bible School this week with a theme, “Game On!” Children kindergarten through sixth grade participated in games, activities, crafts, Bible songs and lessons, and enjoyed snacks. Michelle Stelly, leader and teacher, of third-and fourth-graders, taught a lesson on “Jesus Gives Me Hope,” and the kids had an opportunity to build a popper with a balloon, plastic cup, and a ball to illustrate how Lazard came back to life.
