New Hope Fellowship church members gave of their time and hard work as part of the church’s Serve Day at Highland Elementary. Justin Leger and Karen Schambough and their boys gave an entire day to prime and paint the stage sky blue and Tayler Myers painted the”Leader in Me” tree for Highland. This project took over a day and a half. The tree represents Highland’s commitment to Leader in Me and growing leaders for many years to come. It was the school’s “Big Rock” for the Leadership Environment Committee this year and New Hope Fellowship went above and beyond to help make the school’s dream come true. Highland’s Teacher of the Year Randi Reed, and Student of the Year Janna Simone, had the privilege of revealing the tree to everyone for the first time at the school’s Community Day. (Submitted photo)
