2018 Word Ministries graduates

Word Ministries in Eunice held its graduation ceremony in the Word Ministries Christian Academy sanctuary at 7 p.m. May 17.
Three seniors received their diplomas, Jazlyn Edwards, Kiersten Goodley and Alexander Guillory.
The school’s colors are burgundy, silver and white their motto is “To accomplish great things we must not only act, but also dream, not only plan but also believe,” Anatole France.
The class scripture is “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11.
Jazlyn Joe’nah Edwards, Parents: Donovan and April LeDay, and Joseph Edwards, all of Eunice. Activities: color guard flagline, three years, morning motivational leader, Word Ministries homecoming court senior honor maid. Achievements: scored 91 percent on State Board (Highest score in class), board certified nursing assistant (CNA), cardiopulmonary resuscitation certified (CPR). Plans after graduation are to attend Sowela in Lake Charles in the summer and transfer to McNeese with plans to become a registered nurse practitioner.
Kiersten Goodley, Parents: Minister Reko and Minister Rackell Goodley. Valedictorian of the class. Plans after graduation are to attend LSU in Baton Rouge and purse a degree in education administration.
Alexander Guillory, Parents: Shannon and Amber Guillory. Plans after graduation are to work offshore drilling.
