Alicia G. Bielstein chosen Eunice High School Teacher of the Year

Eunice High School named Alicia Guillory Bielstein as Teacher of the Year.
Bielstein began her teaching career in 2000, teaching in San Diego, California. She taught eighth-grade language arts.
In 2002 Bielstein taught in Atlanta, Georgia, remained teaching one year eighth-grade language arts.
She then found her home in Eunice, teaching at Eunice High School since 2005. She started teaching ninth grade English and twelfth grade AP English literature and composition for 12 years. She has teaches English 4 and English 3.
Bielstein is a 1990 Eunice High School graduate, and earned a bachelor’s degree in English and history from Louisiana Tech University. She is a graduate of the Teacher Education Program at the University of California, in San Diego.
Bielstein in actively involved at Eunice High as she serves as student council advisor, Renaissance committee, and cheerleading sponsor and coach.
She is a Louisiana Teacher Leader for the past seven years.
Bielstein is currently in the certification process of becoming a Mentor Teacher and Content Leader for St. Landry Parish.
She won Teacher of the Year at Eunice High in 2015.
Bielstein attended the Renaissance National Convention in Minneapolis in 2006 and in Orlando in 2015 and 2016, and in Phoenix in 2018.
Bielstein is married to Michael Bielstein for the past nine years and the couple has one son, Reid Bielstein.
At home, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family at their camp in Toledo Bend.
