The Eunice Bulb and Blossom Garden Club held its first meeting of the year at the home of Barbara Wells. Despite the recent hard freezes, member Suzanne LaHaye gathered items from her yard to demonstrate Ikebana, one of the traditional art forms of Japan. Ikebana is much more than just flower arranging. Its long history and the requirements behind it were explained to those in attendance by LaHaye. The next meeting of the Club was held on Feb. 19 at the home of Lynn Pavich.
