Caroline Vienne named St. Landry Parish Student of the Year

Caroline Louise Vienne has been selected as St. Landry Parish Schools’ Eighth-Grade Student of the Year. To be considered for such an honor, Caroline was selected as Eunice Junior High School’s Eighth Grade Student of the Year.
Caroline competed for the district title against other eighth-grade students from within the district. Caroline has a history of being recognized for her high academic standards as she represented Central Middle School three years ago as the Fifth Grade Student of the Year.
Caroline is the daughter of Ryan and Minette Vienne and an older sister to Sarah Claire Vienne. As a 4.0 honor roll student, Caroline describes herself as outgoing. She is an avid softball player and is currently a starting pitcher on a 14u travel team.
As a student at Eunice Junior High, Caroline is a member of the Junior Beta Society, cheerleading team, history club, and Youth Alive.
Caroline’s future plans are to graduate from Eunice High School and attend LSU as well as play softball for LSU. Her strong endearment for children has encouraged Caroline’s dream of becoming a pediatrician.
The principal at Eunice Junior High is Dwanetta Scott. Scott added, of this honor and recipient, “I am pleased and proud of Caroline. She is deserving of this recognition and honor.”
