A PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) for staff through a customized booth was the event of the week at Central Middle School.
Recently teachers at Central Middle School earned an opportunity to spend time in Central’s PBIS booth to grab some “Central Middle School’s pretend cash” for prizes.
The booth was designed and constructed by a parent volunteer Danny Verret using materials donated to the school by Eunice merchants and businesses. Classroom activities were conducted that linked the design of the booth to core curriculum of math and science.
“This is a wonderful example of community, school, and parents collaborating for a common purpose,” said Ranolviaun Landry, principal.
“I presented the idea as a challenge and it eventually became a reality that we are very proud of. Staff as well as students enjoy this addition to our campus.”
