Chachere, Kora announce engagement January wedding

The engagement of Alyson Claire Chachere, of Eunice, and Jacob Michael Kora, of Baton Rouge, has been announced.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of T.C. and Arlene Chachere, of Eunice. Her maternal grandparents are the late Calvin and Allie Caillier, of Rayne; and her paternal grandparents are Madeleon Chachere and the late R. Eldon Chachere, of Eunice.
The groom-to-be is the son of Gabriel S. Kora Jr. and the late Therese Inman Kora, of Baton Rouge. His maternal grandparents are the late C.W. “Sonny” Inman and the late Marie Therese Inman, of Springfield; paternal grandparents are the late Gabriel S. Kora Sr. and the late Rosemary Kora, of Baton Rouge.
The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of St. Edmund High School, a 2010 bachelor of science degree graduate of McNeese State University and a 2012 bachelor of science degree in dental hygiene from the University of Louisiana Monroe. She is employed as a dental hygienist at Drs. Fontenot and Fontenot, DDS, in Eunice.
The groom-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Bishop Sullivan High School. He earned a bachelor of science from the University of Louisiana Lafayette in 2010 and a master’s of business administration from the University of Louisiana Lafayette in 2014. He is employed as officer manager at Pelican Coast Foods in Eunice.
The wedding is scheduled at 7 p.m. Jan. 19, 2018, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 310 W. Vine Ave., Eunice.
