Students at Highland Elementary are learning about Christmas Around the World when they attend Amy Myers’ cultural arts class. They learned about Christmas in Mexico. Since the Mexican Christmas decoration which most English-speakers are most familiar with is the red poinsettia, students colored poinsettias and used them to decorate the Christmas tree.
