This week’s Student of the Week is Destiny Lafleur, a senior at Eunice High School. Her parents are Jennifer Fontenot and Moise Lafleur.
If you had to live in another part of the world, where would you want to live and why? I would like to live in Venice, Italy because of the history surrounding the city and its beauty.
Do you have a career wish? I’m not sure what career I’d like to pursue, but I just want to be successful at what I do.
What could you eat seven days a week? Boiled crawfish.
What could you never eat? Sushi.
What is your favorite school subject and who is your favorite teacher? My favorite subject is biology, and my favorite teacher is Pierre Martel
What is your favorite movie? The Breakfast Club and The Lion King.
What was the last video game you played? Subway Surfers.

What is an ideal summer vacation? An ideal vacation would be a trip to the beach.
Who has the most influence on you so far? My aunt and one of my teachers.
What would you change in your city? I wish our city would become more of a community environment-type in some aspects.
What do you like the most at your school? I enjoy football games and other things, but I love how the whole school can come together in bad times. My class has also grown closer over the years and it’s hard to imagine leaving them.
