This week’s Student of the Week is Austin Poncho, a junior at St. Edmund High School. His parents are Cathy Miller and Cameron Poncho.
If you had to live in another part of the world, where would you want to live and why? I would like to live in Colorado. I would like to live in/near all the mountain ranges and ski resorts.
Do you have a career wish? I would like to become a lawyer.
What could you eat seven days a week? Crawfish.
What could you never eat? Brussel sprouts.
What is your favorite school subject and who is your favorite teacher? My favorite subject is chemistry, and my favorite teacher is Coach Mike Yachera.
What is your favorite movie? “Facing The Giants.”
What was the last video game you played? “Madden NFL 18.”
Do you Facebook, Skype, Instagram, Tweet? No.
What is an ideal summer vacation? A trip to the beach, or taking a cruise.
Who has the most influence on you so far? My friends and family.
What would you change in your city? I would lower the crime rate.
What do you like the most at your school? I like that everyone at school treats me like family.
