DARE graduation at St. Edmund

Heather Bertrand’s fifth-grade class at St. Edmund successfully completed the 10-lesson Drug Abuse Resistance Education program and was recognized Tuesday at their DARE graduation. DARE officer Ashley Boudreaux was on hand for their DARE program. Boudreaux provided education for students on how to choose to lead their lives free from violence, substance use and other dangerous behaviors. Students were asked to write an essay once the program was completed explaining what they learned during the DARE program. These students are DARE essay winners.
