The Bulb and Blossom Club met in December at the home of Barbara Wells. A Christmas social was held, and members created scented pine cones to use in their homes over the holidays. Lynn Pavich explained the process of applying essential oils to the cones and then keeping them in plastic bags for two weeks to allow the oils to be absorbed. Members used recycled cardboard rolls with the kids to make bird feeders by applying lard to the tubes and then rolling them in bird seed.
