End of the year program at Eunice Career & Technical Education Center

Eunice Career & Technical Education Center held its end of the year program May 17.
Faciliator at the center Lisa Fuselier said, “We are ecstatic to announce that our students earned 108 industry-based certifications this year and 140 hours of dual enrollment credit.”
The following students earned certification in ASE, Automotive Service Excellence. Certification in ASE Brakes are Jason Bellard, Grant Clancy, Steven Fontenot, Dominque Martel, Hunter Miller, Nathan Noblitt, Louis Roy and Caden Treadway.
Two exceptional students earned additonal certifications in ASE. They are Michael May, earned the Brakes, Electrical/Electronics systems and suspension and steering. Benjamin Guillory earned the Brakes, Suspension and Steering. Benjamin Guillory earned the Brakes, Suspension and Steering, Electrical/Electronics Systems and Engine repair.
The following students earned certification in NCCER (National Center for Conststruction Education and Research) Core Curriculum. These students earned one credit for Basic Wood Tech and an additional credit for the Core Credential. The Core Curriculum is based on teaching safety in the workplace and is the building block of entering Carpentry and Welding course taught at the school. Students earning Core Credentials are Brycelyn Anderson, James Arnold, Isiah Darby, De’Vidre Edwards, Ja’Vondre Edwards, Caleb Johnson, Jake Lanclos, Tammy Nelson, Alex White and De’Quin Zachary.
The following students earned certification in NCCER Carpentry Helper Credentials are Tristan Broussard, Lukus Deculus, Georrein Dupre, Christian Fruge, and Toby Patton.
The following students earned ServSafe certification from the National Restaurant Association, McKenzie Bellon, Skyler Fontenot, Alexis Miller, Mackenzie Miller, Adrienne LeDoux.
The following students earned certification in NCCER Welder Helper. Students earning Welder Helper Credentials include Leroy Allen, Christopher Botley, Tiler Deville, Marshal Fontenot, Stephan Fontenot, Travontay Guillory, Timothy Jones, John Christian LeJeune, Keithan Monday, Alex Thibodeaux, Jacob Thibodeaux,Lane Thibodeaux, James Thomas-Klein, Christian Watson, and Devon West.
The following student earned certification as Certified Nursing Assistant. They completed 280 lecture hours in class and 40 clinical hours at Eunice Manor. They were presented with a CNA pin. They are Le’Hya Bellard, Jada Bordelon, Shania DeCoux, Destiny Edwards, Jessie Folse, Alexis Fontenot, Tierra Fontenot, Victoria Fontenot, Reiah Frank, Tabitha Gaspard, Kirsten Guidry, Thelma Guillory, Katelyn Howell, Kaitlyn LaFleur, Destiny Malveaux and Chinira Washington.
Students earning the American Heart Association CPR certification and earning CPR credentials include Olivia Adamson, Gabby Ardoin, Le’Hya Bellard, Jaden Bergeaux, Jada Bordelon, Taneisha Chavis, Shania DeCoux, Madison DeVillier, Destiny Edwards, Lesslie Edwards, Jessie Folse, Alexis Fontenot, Isabelle Fontenot, Tierra Fontenot, Victoria Fontenot, Reiah Frank, Tabitha Gaspard, Kameron Givens, Jonas Granger, Kirsten Guidry, Thelma Guillory, Ryan Higginbotham, Katelyn Howell, Katlyn Joubert, Savahana Klein, Kaitlyn LaFleur, Kadryn Lawyer, Destiny Malveaux, Tammy Nelson, Richlyn Prather, Shamara Ricketts, Payton Rozas, Ashlynn Smith, Kaylen Sonnier, and Chinira Washington.
The following students earned the Oil & Gas/T-2 Safety Systems credential. Successful completion of this course enabled students to earn two credit hours toward their diploma. Students earning the Oil & Gas /T-2 Safety systems credentials included Timothy Mire, Bryan Ortego, Malik Poullard, Andrew Rougeau, Trevor Sattler and Christian Taylor.
