Gets diploma, finally. 75-year old Clarence J. Brown, left, recently received an honorary high school diploma from Eunice Adult Education School Principal Mike Dupre, on behalf of the state Education Superintendent Cecil Picard. Brown received the diploma some 57 years after his high school education was interrupted, as was that of millions of young Americans, by their country’s entry into World War II. Brown praised Dupre’s efforts on his behalf in securing the diploma. He noted that he has a wall full of plaques and certificates and this newest will be right at the top.
