As the bell tower at Saint Anthony’s Catholic Church in Eunice rang in the noon hour on Oct. 14, Catholics and Christians at three locations within the city and hundreds of other places in the central time zone pleaded for the help of our Blessed Mother in obtaining peace for America. One hundred years ago she appeared to three children in Fatima, Portugal, giving them specific instructions on obtaining world peace.
Since praying for peace is a necessity and not a luxury, people gather annually and publicly to pray and ask for Her intercession, for peace in America. This public prayer rally of praying the most holy rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary takes place at noon in every time zone across America. This year over 100 people participated locally.
