Eunice Players’ Theatre closes 50th season with ‘Noises Off’

“Noises Off” is up and running at Eunice Players’ Theatre, with more performances in the coming days.
The three-act comedy, written by Michael Frayn is called the funniest farce ever written. The show involves a troupe of performers rehearsing a play, and the audience is treated to scenes on stage, as well as backstage.
As with all of the shows produced at EPT during this 50th anniversary season, this is a revival show. It is directed by Annette Harrington and Brett Faulkner.
The cast includes Cindy Veillon Mattei, Casey Harmon, Gabe Ortego, Kristi Burleigh, April Miller, Michael Sanchez, Angie McBride, Nathaniel Clark and Mike Bourgeois.
Performances will be held at 7 p.m. today, Monday, Tuesday and Nov. 22.
Dinner theatre (with steak and trimmings) is set for 6 p.m., Nov. 20.
All seats are $15; dinner is an additional $20 for all parties. The matinee is at 2 p.m., Nov. 24.
Tickets can be purchased at Beaucoup (114 S. 2nd St.) or by calling 337-550-4727 to charge by phone. Visa and MasterCard are accepted for advance sales but not at the door.
Season ticket holders can make reservations by calling the number on their season ticket.
The theater is located at 121 S. 2nd St. in Eunice.
