Mr. and Mrs. Charles Feucht of Eunice are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Leslie Katherine Feucht of Eunice to Derrick Gautreaux of Vidrine.
Mr. Gautreaux is the son of Theresa Fontenot Ducote and Craig Gautreaux.
A Nuptial Mass ceremony will be celebrated at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Eunice on Friday, October 27 at 7 p.m.
The bride-elect is a graduate of St. Edmund High School and LSU Baton Rouge. She received her doctorate of veterinary medicine in June of 2017. She is a practicing veterinarian at the Eunice Animal Hospital.
The groom-elect is a graduate of St. Edmund High School and he is currently employed with Island Operators and also involved in farming locally.
Miss Feucht is the granddaughter of Velma Feucht and the late Etienne Feucht, and the late J. Nilas Young and Lillie Caswell Young.
Mr. Gautreaux is the grandson of Roderick and Pam Gautreaux and Dean and Verbis Fontenot.
An engagement party honoring the couple was held at the home of the bride-elect on June 17.
