The first annual Le Printemps on the Prairie in Eunice was held Saturday with over 20 businesses and merchants participating.
To celebrate the first day of Spring, the participating businesses decided to offer their customers a shopping spree day similiar to the annual Noel on the Prairie offered in November.
Shoppers were treated similiar to Noel On the Prairie event as they had a card with a listing of participating merchants. At each stop the shopper had their card stamped by the business, and at the 10th stop the shopper had an opportunity to leave their card in hopes of winning a large drawing of gift cards from each business. A winner will be picked at a later date.
Shoppers enjoyed special discounts, refreshments and door prizes at local businesses.
