Dr. Monty and Tiffani Heinen of Eunice are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Victoria Anne Heinen, to Wesley Tate Fontenot, son of Dr. Thomas Fontenot and the late Valarie Guillory Fontenot of Ville Platte.
Miss Heinen is the granddaughter of Brent and Carol Powell of Lafayette, Dr. Brian and Jennifer Heinen of Eunice, and the great-granddaughter of Joycie Rhodes of Lafayette.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Saint Edmund High School and LSU in Baton Rouge where she plans to earn a bachelors of science degree in biology in May of 2019. She is a member of Kappa Delta, SCMA, Dance Marathon, Tiger Awakening and Study Abroad. She is currently employed at Brown Rodgers Physical Therapy.
Mr. Fontenot is the grandson of Norman Glenn Fontenot and Dorothy Nell Tate, James Roland Guillory and Rosa Bell Guillory, all of Ville Platte.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Sacred Heart High School and plans to graduate in May of 2019 from LSU Baton Rouge with a degree in chemical engineering.
He is a member of Phi Sigma Theta National Honor Society, Dance Marathon, Society of Collegiate Leadership and Achievement, and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.
The couple will exchange vows on Friday, Dec. 21 at 6:30 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Eunice.
