Highland celebrates 21st Century Lights On

Highland Elementary celebrated the 21st CCLC Lights On After School program themed “Primarily Primary Art,” on Oct. 25. Lights On Afterschool is a project of the Afterschool Alliance, a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring that all children have access to quality, affordable after school programs. Program teachears, LaRhonda Simpson and Tonya Guillory hosted featured artist, Hannah “Gumbo” Thibodeaux as she taught students about the importance of art in education.
