Honor Your Veterinarian Day at Eunice Elem.

To celebrate “Honor Your Veterinarian Day”, Eunice Elementary invited Dr. Tim Deshotel, vet and owner of Northside Vet Clinic, to speak to the students. Deshotel explained how to take care of pets and showed the students how he does a basic exam on his patients. Deshotel used Tater Tot, paraprofessional Jennifer Perkins’s Yorkie, to demonstrate what he does. After his presentation, Chelsee Checker’s third grade class presented Deshotel with a poster and sweet treats.
