Invited guest to ride in parade

Chief of Police Randy Fontenot asked Mary Dupre, principal of Eunice Elementary, to select a student to ride in Eunice High’s homecoming parade. Each teacher submitted the names of students who were on their best behavior and doing well in class. During the school’s Friday flag pole ceremony Gavin S. Fontenot, a fourth grader, was chosen to ride with Chief Fontenot in the parade. The parade was held Oct. 5. Fontenot is with Mary Dupre, principal. (Submitted Photo)
