Iota High School Beta Club takes first place at State Beta Convention

The Iota High School BETA Club participated in a Group Talent competition at the State BETA Convention held in Baton Rouge on Feb. 7-8. They performed a six-minute rendition of “The Lion King.” There were 30 students that performed on the stage including vocalists, dancers and the color guard. Along with the stage performers, there were an additional 15 students that coordinated backdrop movements and scene changes. Out of nearly 30 schools participating Iota High took first place. They will now compete at the National BETA Convention which will be held in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, in June.
