Kevin and Christine Kidder of Breaux Bridge are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Lauren Danielle Kidder, to Garrett Paul Savant, son of Jenny and Peter Manuel of Ville Platte and Greg and Lisa Savant of Cecilia.
Miss Kidder is the granddaughter of Jim and Shirley Hebert, Elsie M. Kidder and the late Bradley Kidder, all of Cecilia.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Cecilia High School and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she earned a bachelor of science in health information management. She is employed at Franciscan Missionairies of Our Lady Health System.
Mr. Savant is the grandson of Helen and Herman Savant of Eunice, Lois B. Vige and the late Shirley F. Vige Sr. of Eunice, Germaine Manuel and the late Donald Manuel of Ville Platte, and Mary and the late J.C. Dauphine of Cecilia.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Ville Platte and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where he earned a bachelor of science degree in business management. He is employed at HD Supply Whitecap.
The couple will exchange vows at 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 19, 2018, at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Cecilia.
