Tony and Cheryl LaFleur of Ville Platte are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Lacey Marie LaFleur, to Nickolas Jude Richard, son of Scotty and Jana Richard of Eunice.
Miss LaFleur is the granddaughter of the late Andrew and Joyce LaFleur of Ville Platte and the late Viel and Mavis Vidrine of Vidrine.
The bride-elect is a graduate of St. Edmund High School and UL of Lafayette Nursing program. She is employed at Savoy Medical Center in Mamou.
Mr. Richard is the grandson of the late Ira Richard, and Pat Richard of Eunice, and the late Bruce and Hazel Miller of Eunice.
The groom-elect is a graduate of St. Edmund High School and McNeese State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He is employed at Altair Strickland in LaPorte, Texas.
The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, May 19 at 7 p.m. at Our Lady Queen of All Saints in Ville Platte.
