Members of the Eunice Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. City-wide celebration committee announces the recent scholarship senior winners based on the following criteria: a combination of need, academic ability, and community involvement.
A total of $5,000 was awarded to Eunice graduating seniors. This year’s recipients included Brandon Ndubueze of Word Ministries, Jyhreh Johnson of Eunice High, Alex Antoine of Eunice High, Lesslie Edwards of Eunice High, Kadryn Lawyer of Eunice High, Destiny Edwards of Eunice High, Benjamin Vidrine of St. Edmund, Hollie Heinen of Eunice High, Samantha Prudhomme of Eunice High, and Sarah Fruge of St. Edmund.
These students also submitted a 500-word essay explaining the need for the scholarship along with two letters of recommendations. This essay’s theme was, “Sow A Seed.”
