Orientation, open houses posted

Open houses, registration dates and time at Eunice schools are listed below.
Open house at Highland Elementary will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. today. There will also be Kona Ice truck and Mrs. Gattis’ Pizza truck open to the public from 4 to 7 p.m. today. A $20 registration fee is required, after Aug. 8 registration will be $25.
Glendale Elementary will have its open house, “Meet The Teacher” from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
East Elementary will host its annual “Meet the Teacher” night on today from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Everyone is asked to meet in the school’s cafeteria at 5 p.m. All students and parents are welcome.
Eunice High School will hold orientation for freshman and new students is at 1 p.m. Aug. 8. Call 457-3011 for details or information.
Open house for all parents is from 2 to 3 p.m. Aug. 8.
Registration fee is $60, which does not include yearbook. Yearbooks may be purchased separately.
Eunice Jr. High principal Dwanetta Scott announces that the junior high campus is on the same schedule as the high school campus. Students begin their day at 7:30 a.m. Bus riders will be dismissed at 2:40 p.m. Car riders will be dismissed at 2:45 p.m.
First day of school is Aug. 9.
