Quilts donated

The Eunice City Marshal’s Office, in conjunction with the Richie Volunteer Fire Department, collected socks, lotion, body sprays and blankets to donate to the residents of Oak Lane Wellness. The Marshal’s Office thanked Rowena Albert, an 82-year-old Youngsville resident, for making and donating 73 crocheted blankets. Terry Darbonne, city marshal, said, “A heartfelt thanks to all that donated items so that the Marshal’s Office can help to make Christmas a little brighter for these people.” (Submitted photo)
