Registration dates, open house posted at Eunice schools

Open houses, registration dates and time at Eunice schools are listed below.
Open house at Highland Elementary will be Aug. 3 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Early registration for kindergarten-fourth grades will be held July 31 from 9 until 11 a.m. inside the school’s cafeteria.
A $20 registration fee is required, after Aug. 8 registration will be $25.
Eunice Elementary will hold registration for any and all new students on the following dates: July 31 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.; Aug. 1, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.; and Aug. 2, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. To register bring a birth certificate, shot record and current proof of residence.
East Elementary will hold registration for kindergarten and new students on July 25 from 8 a.m. until noon.
Bring copies of birth certificate, shot records, and proof of residence.
East Elementary will hold its annual “Meet the Teacher” night on Aug. 3, from 5 until 6:30 p.m. Everyone is asked to meet in the school’s cafeteria at 5 p.m. All students and parents are welcomed.
Central Middle School will have its registration for fifth-and sixth-graders on July 28 from 8 until 11:30 a.m. and again from 12:45 until 2:30 p.m. Registration fee is $35 and required at registration. Schedules for students will be given to parents at registration. Students are not required to attend registration with parents, but are welcomed. Everyone registering at registration will need proof of residence (copy of recent utility bill)
All students who are new to the district enrolling at Central Middle must provide copies of birth certificates at registration.
Eunice High School will hold its fall registration on July 25 for 10th through 12th grades from 8 until 11a.m.
Registration for freshmen students is set for July 26 from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. New students can register from 10 a.m. until noon.
Orientation for freshman and new students is Aug. 8 at 1 p.m.
Open house for all parents is Aug. 8 from 2 until 3 p.m.
Registration fee is $60, which does not include yearbook. Yearbooks may be purchased separately.
First day of school is Aug. 9 with first bell ringing at 7:45 a.m.

Eunice Junior High School will hold registration for both seventh and eighth-graders on July 27 from 9 until 11 a.m. Students need not be present for registration.
