St. Edmund cheerleaders recently attended Southwestern Cheerleader Association camp at McNeese State University in Lake Charles. The Blue Jay cheer squad took home overall Grand Champion in the home cheer and dance routines, and the staff award. The squad earned runner up in the cheer created over the course of the camp. The cheerleaders walked away with six All-Americans: Abby Miller, Camille Leger, Maddie Cormier, Anna Heinen, Katherine Fontenot and Brianna Bertrand. Brianna Bertrand also earned the title Jump Off champion, while Anna Heinen was name Dance Off champion.
