St. Edmund Catholic School’s fifth grade religion students collected Christmas gifts for the Southwest Louisiana Veterans Home in Jennings. Some of the Blue Jay family members, Michelle Stelly and Stephanie Manuel, made the delivery of gifts to the Veterans Home. Employees there, Libby Fontenot and Julie Benoit, along with, Sammy Simmons Jr., a veteran at the home, welcomed them and helped unload the gifts donated by the class.
