St. Landry Parish student to compete in National American Miss Pageant

OPELOUSAS–The St. Landry Parish School District would like to congratulate Anastasia M. Stevens for being crowned the 2019 National American Miss Louisiana. Anastasia is the daughter of Will and Monica Stevens of Eunice. She is a seventh grade student at Eunice Junior High School.
“National American Miss’s mission is to encourage America’s future leaders and equip them with valuable life skills.” Pageant winners have an opportunity to win scholarships and prizes.
Anastasia will be traveling to Anaheim, California to compete for the National Title during the week of Thanksgiving. Included in her trip is a special day at Disneyland and a tour of Hollywood.
Anastasia was chosen to represent Louisiana because of her outstanding accomplishments and community service.
“On behalf of the St. Landry Parish School District and schools, we wish Anastasia the best in the upcoming National American Miss Pageant,” said Superintendent Patrick Jenkins.
