St. Thomas More Church annual Fall Festival set for Sept. 22 weekend

The annual St. Thomas More Catholic Church Fall Festival is set for Sept. 22 through Sept. 24.
The carnival fair ride armbands selling for $40 will go on sale from Monday, Sept. 11 at 3:30 p.m. until Thursday, Sept. 21.
The family-oriented fun event begins Sept. 22, from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. On Saturday, Sept. 23, the festival will open from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 24, the fair and festival events will be from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
A wide variety of foods will be sold at the festival. There will be barbecue sandwiches, chicken tenders, corn dogs, hot dogs, coffee, cokes, french fries, fried fish, fried shrimp, fried Oreo cookies, frozen casseroles, funnel cakes, gumbo, nachos, sausage po-boys, shrimp etouffee, and much more.
There will be a live auction Sunday, Sept. 24, at 1 p.m. and also a silent auction will be offered.
There will be children’s games on the grounds, as well as a 5-K Run/Fun Run set for Sunday, Sept. 24 at 8 a.m. at LSUE. For Run details, contact Carol Rougeau at carol_rougeau@yahoo.com or call 580-2916.
There will be bingo games Friday through Sunday. Friday bingo times are 6 p.m. until 10 p.m., Saturday games are set for 10 a.m. until 10 p.m., and Sunday games will be played from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
The fair ride armbands will be sold for $20 for one 4-hour period, and ride times are Friday from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m., Saturday from noon until 4 p.m. or 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. Sunday rides are from noon until 4 p.m.
