These two sisters enjoyed StoryTime hour Wednesday at the library. Left, Victoria Prather, 6, and Zaylee Prather, 8, started their craft of placing orbiting planets around the sun by using Elmer’s glue and to finish their project they plan to use sticky colorful stars around the outer edge of the paper plate. Children are invited to StoryTime hour every Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m. inside the children’s room of the library.
StoryTime hour at Eunice Public Library
StoryTime hour was held Wednesday morning at the Eunice Public Library with children listening to a reading, making a craft, winning door prizes and taking home a snack. The Summer Reading program theme is "A Universe of Stories." Bobbie Bordelon, children’s librarian. Bordelon read a story book, “There’s No Place Like Space,” by Trish Rabe. The kids crafted their own orbiting planets on a paper plate and some won door prizes of a Galaxy fidget spinners. (Photos by Myra Miller)
