Teacher of the Year at Eunice Elementary

Eunice Elementary named its Teacher of the Year. Katie Fontenot, a third-grade teacher, has nine years of teaching under her belt. Fontenot earned her bachelors in education from the University of Lafayette. She has taught eight years at Eunice Elementary, and has taught English Language Arts for the past six years. Fontenot has been married for the past 13 years to Eunice Mayor Scott Fontenot, and together they are parents of two children, Anzley, 14, and Wesley, 12.
