Tickets on sale for Players’ Theatre’s Play “Romeo and Winifred”

Tickets are now on sale for “Romeo and Winifred” at Eunice Players’ Theatre.
The show is a modern-day twist on Shakespeare’s classic, set in modern-day NYC, with the feuding Montagues and Capulets amid designer fashion icons, shysters with pirated merchandise, and a Roman chorus.
Cast and crew members include youth ages 7-16 from Eunice and surrounding areas including Basile, Ville Platte, Mamou, Iota, Bayou Chicot, and Oakdale.
Performances are set for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, at 7 p.m., and Sunday, June 17 at 2 pm. Tickets for all seats are $10, and can be purchased by cash, check, or credit card at David Ltd. Hair Salon, 204 S. 2nd St., or by calling 546-0163.
Tickets paid by cash or check can also be purchased at Revente, 120 S. 2nd St. This play is not on the season ticket. The theatre is located at 121 S. 2nd St. in Eunice.
The show is written by Charlie Lovett and directed by Suzanne LaHaye and Jody L. Powell.
