Upcoming spring concert

Nancy Simon, founder and conductor of Eunice Symphony Orchestra, was the guest speaker at a Kiwanis’ meeting. The Orchestra is in its 18th year of existence and will present its Spring Concert at 6 p.m. April 15 at the Liberty Theater. Simon, a violionist for the past 54 years, played a “guess” what the music of what “movie,” during the meeting. The spring concert’s theme is “Opening Night”, and promises to be entertaining its audience with different movie themed music. Some will include music from “Mamma Mia”, “Forest Gump”, and “Grease”, and much more. Tickets will be sold at the door at $5 each and children age 6 and under will be allowed free.
