As an extension of their art education class, third and fourth grade students at East Elementary were treated to a performance by the Acadiana Center for the Arts. The program featured Zydeco artist Corey Ledet and the author of the book “Zydeco Zoom”, Theresa Singleton. Students learned how Zydeco plays a role in our culture as well as danced to Zydeco music.
