What started as project to cleanup up a historic bayou has turned into the unique Bayou Teche Paddle Trail that stretches from Port Barre to Berwick.
The 135-mile long trail began in 2010 with a group of people concerned about the garbage in the bayou, according to Patti Holland, of Arnaudville, a member of the TECHE Project board of directors.
