The first day of qualifying in St. Landry Parish ended on Tuesday with three candidates for the open District 13 Parish Council seat.
Two-term Council member Coby Clavier resigned his seat citing conflicts with his job as the retail manager of the Coburn’s in Eunice.
Qualifying for the Oct. 14 election continues through 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
