The Acadia Parish School Board is entertaining the idea of converting to a four-day school week.
The prospect was introduced by James Higginbotham of District 7, who noted, “With the board not knowing what the future will bring in consideration of funding, this may be a way to give time off to our teachers and staff if funding for raises and extra checks are not available. It’s just a thought…
