The current and past directors of the St. Landry Parish Tourist Commission requested the St. Landry Parish Council follow state law in filling seven seats.
The Council has been filling seats on the commission by requesting applications.
The state law requirement is to fill the 3-year term positions from people associated with the tourism industry.
