A fast moving squall line raced across St. Landry Parish with straight-line winds up to 90 mph and two confirmed tornadoes downing dozens of trees and closing about 50 roads on Wednesday.
The storm knocked out power to about 32,000 customers across the parish beginning about 7 a.m.
