Two parish government bodies – the Police Jury and the School Board – took less than 20 minutes to agree on a redistricting plan Thursday night that keeps each body’s eight districts identical for another 10 years.
Those districts have been identical since the early 1990s. This is the third time, however, the lines have had to be tweaked as populations constantly shift.
