Dewey Balfa Cajun & Creole Heritage Week was declared for March 24 to 25 in Eunice and Lakeview Park in proclamation signed by Parish President Jessie Bellard at Wednesday’s Parish Council meeting.
Jeanne Solis, executive director for Louisiana Folk Roots, was present with Board member Colby Martin to present the proclamation. Bellard read proclamation in English and Martin read it in French. ...
