The 37th St. Landry Cattlemen’s Association Here’s the Beef Cook-off on was a success, said Jay Guidry, association president.
“Very nice,” he said. “We had one of the biggest trail rides we’ve had in awhile with about 150 horses. We figured we had about 850 people come through the gate.”
The cook-off features beef dishes from the tongue to the tail in a nearly all-day event.
